I have to attend Brompton Hospital every 3 months and my son always comes with me - after my appointment we always go in the Crown - my son has not come with me then I am happy to go in there on my own. The staff are great - they have a good selection of wines - food is out of this world. Always hot and has lots of natural flavour. Am going back to Brompton Hospital this week with son in tow, so we will go to the Crown. Have tried other restaurants near by but nothing comes up to this little place. Keep the good work up! This site sends users to the wrong restaurant to book a table. Anyone wanting a supper reservation at The Crown needs to call 020-7352-9505.

Great little gastropub. They've restored the old bar and the charm.

Its also a little bit off the beaten track of chain restaurants because of the location just south of Fulham Rd, so it has the feel of a real neighbourhood pub with Spitfire on tap.

I tried the smoke salmon starter, which was good value for money. The steak was perfect. My friend started with a half pint of prawns and the burger.

The main courses were huge and my friend said she'd come back just for the chips. Overall it was a great night and the atmosphere was buzzing.

I'd definitely recommend a stop at this pub again.

Nestled between the Royal Marsdon and Royal Brompton Hospitals, the Crown proved to be a real find. Under new ownership, the place has had a real makeover and only opened four weeks ago.

For a Tuesday night, the bar and restaurant were busy with a smart clientele and deservedly so. The service was polite and friendly and the food fantastic.

I opted for the pasta with chilli oil and cherry tomatoes which was delicious, my two friends both went for the fishcakes which were simply done but just as good, all washed down with a very nice house white wine.

Desserts didn’t disappoint either and the chocolate brownie with raspberries and a very rich vanilla ice cream was to die for.

The menu isn't huge but their philosophy of doing simple things well really complements the relaxing and well designed interior. Definitely worth a visit.
