I decided to go by the popular 800 plus ratings on Top Table and ate today( Sunday) at 'Banyan on Thames' the restaurant was lively, vibrant . The bar was alive and serve great Cocktails, the food was striking and of exceptional value even before the discount, with 50% discount it is a bargain. I rate Banyan as one of the best values in London on taste and price, the cocktails at the Rafayel are special and are awe-inspiring .
Fabulous place this! Cocktails were decadently delicious and the food at the Banyan was fantastic. Went with a party of 4 although we had a booking done for 3. Nothing was a problem, staff was friendly, attentive and willing to make suggestions. The place was crowded when we arrived, credence to its popularity. Great ambience, background music very easy on the ears. The 50% off was as sweet a treat as my sumptuous dessert of kheer brulee. Would recommend it to all, and will definitely go back!
Crystal bar at the Banyan Thames is an extraordinary setting, brilliant ambience, place that needs to be visited to be believed.
Will be the hottest spot in the summer, the terraces at the top plus the unique design of its bar makes me remind of Sanderson long bar but 1/3rd the price, very chic and very swish, Battersea finally comes off age, with so many bridge closures travelling from the South to the other side only 150m away is a nightmarish proposition especially on a weekend, crystal bar and Banyan are one more reason to keep us in the area, well done..
Crystal Bar is the new place to be !
