I was in London for a weekend and one of my "restaurant connoisseur" friends recommended Dego'. If I lived in town I know this restaurant would be a favorite. The food was very tasty and the sommelier was very knowledgeable of the HUGE wine menu. The food was just so good and tasted fresh and authentic.

I like this place, they have a full bar, the selection of bread is good start, also the parmigiana. The spaghetti with crab is great, I tasted the veal as well. i think i will order that next time. Fantastic meal and ambiance for a great price. The service could not have been better and the food was amazing. The wine list was good and the prices were very reasonableWe would definitely go back!

Dego' is the perfect setting to have a romantic dinner. It's a really amazing date atmosphere to bring that special someone.

The service was excellent. The waiters are really on point and the food came out right away. As far as the food goes, my pasta was delicious! I had the spaghettini with crab. I also ordered the puff pastry as an appetizer, although I wish I had ordered it as a dessert only because it was pretty sweet.
Would definitely make a return visit the next time I'm in the London area.

A very enjoyable restaurant, with excellent service. Our group had a variety of dishes, all excellent and, I thought, reasonably priced. I had home made spaghetti with duck and veal - both delicious.
I would certainly eat there the next time we are in London.

Our meal at Dego' was truly to die for. We arrived early (my bad i mixed up the seating time) but that was not a problem. The manager sat us at the bar & chatted to us while pouring us some prosecco and could not have been nicer.

When we were seated, quite soon after, the real pleasure began, the portion size was perfect for us and the desert was so good I wanted to ask for a step by step recipe!
It was one of the best meals out I have ever had and i cannot recommend this place highly enough.

Could not fault the place!Visited this restaurant on Saturday evening with a group of friends and cannot recomment it too highly! We started at the cocktail bar with a special mojto and margarita which was perfect and then had dinner in the restaurant.
Service was very professional, the food was excellent, I had a spaghetti with fresh crab that was divine followed by the sea bass, several of my friends had the t-bone steak which was cooked to perfection. Would recommend it for any occasion!

Celebrated my birthday some friends here and was absolutely perfect! My homemade gnocchi with artichokes were excellent and my birthday plate with the rose parfait coming with a real red rose was something I've never had before! Service excellent, especially the manager, who recommended them best dishes. A very enjoyable dining experience and will definately return!

This newborn to central London’s Great Portland Street and two minute walk from Oxford Circus it's a gem. I'm italian and finally I felt in this Restaurant like at home. I had homemade fetuccine with tomato and buffalo mozzarella, my girlfriend had a perfectly "al dente" linguine with monkfish but what we really loved was the freshly baked bread! This is a nice place to celebrate a special occasion!

If I could give it 0 stars, I would.

Absolutely shockingly terrible. Service, was polite but completely useless (far too many people not actually doing much)

Food was bland too, a friend did actually eat either her main course or dessert but none of the waiters asked why, of if everything was alright.

Prices are completely crazy, the food looks sort of OK, but tastes completely bland, what's the point?

One more thing, although there were 4 of us and we had a 50% off the food bill, it still came up at £30 per person (couple of bottles of wine for 4), which is very expensive!

No wonder this place was absolutely desert both up and downstairs on a Saturday night, where all the other places are packed.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Unless you're really looking for a crap time ;)

Oh, and by the way:

This is NOT an Italian restaurant! It's sort of super pretentious continental, with fancy food presentation.

We had our Christmas party at Dego', from the minute we walked up to the bar, we were treated extremely well, delicious food and all of our expectations were exceeded: from a very wine-knowlegeable waiter, to timely but non-intrusive service. We'll definitely come back.

Ate here last night, perfection. They introduce you to everyone thats going to be looking after you for the evening. You recieve unexpected extra's at no extra charge. Wine was beautiful, food was out of this world. Bread board is enough to go for. Lush. Please try Dego out.

Liked this restaurant very much. Great service with incredibly tasty food. I loved the decor with elegant touches. Overall a really nice experience. We enjoyed a fresh duck salad and a dish of home made fusilli with prawns and a serving of gnocchi with ricotta cheese and bacon, delicious. We picked a Soave wine from Veneto region perfectly chilled. The espresso, was a perfect end to this quick meal. Definitely will be paying another visit soon.

We visited Dego' for drinks with friends and with my girlfriend for dinner. The dining room is very nice and warm. The lighting is great for a romantic dinner and the food did not disappoint either. The meat was flavourful and my pasta was cooked to perfection.
Great food and atmosphere. Definately come for dinner and stay for drinks.
