I don't know what the booking service for the bar is like but DON'T let that put you off!
Dirty Martini is a fantastic bar where all the staff are super friendly and really know their stuff! Great cocktails made using fresh ingredients right before your eyes are the highlight here and the barstaff are exceptionally fast for what goes into each drink.
The Happy Hour is fantastic value for money, i'd happily pay way more than £4 for one of the delicious martinis!
If you're serious about good drinks, Dirty Martini is a place well worth a look!
WHAT A JOKE!
I have visited dirty martini many times but forget trying to book... The contact name is a made up person as she never answers her phone and don't bother leaving her a message as she won't reply.
It's a shame because the bar is quite nice but the booking system is rubbish... A review of management is needed.x
Forgot to put the stars!!! All of course:)
Dirty Martini is my favourite cocktail bar ever!! I have been many times and the service has always been fast and friendly. The presentation of the drinks is absolutely amazing. Booking a table has never been a problem even on a last minute request. I am looking forward my next mnummy cocktail there!
I had been trying to reserve a table at this bar for over a week. I found the ''bookings assistant'' to be absolutely useless!! she casually let us know that the bar was fully booked after having had to chase her for a week! she never answers her phone, landline or mobile and was so vague with her 1 reply tt my 3 emails!! disgusting customer service!!!!
I can not believe the reviews on this website, Dirty Martini is one of Covent Gardens finest bars! I had my birthday party with them, not only was the girl who booked my party extremely helpful from start to finish but she also contacted me after to see how it all went which I thought was lovely and offered me a bottle of wine for free on my next visit. The bar staff were friendly and helpful and even though the bar is extremely busy the waitress who took our order couldn’t have worked any harder. It is not surprising the service is a little slow (I would say thorough) and the bar is packed (I would say Popular), you have top quality Martinis at £3.95!!!! during happy hour and not the usually crap you get in the pub or a cheap happy hour.
Had a very bad experience at this bar absolutely hated it. Spent £20 on two drinks with a friend and were then harassed by a drunken mob just minutes after sitting down. Some really vulgar and childish comments were passed our way by this youngish and socially dysfunctional group which was most definitely fueled by an excess of alcohol and some rather large chips on shoulders. Obviously ruined our night and surprisingly management were happy to defend the larger party rather than the innocent party so we left. Which is the worst thing that they can do to damage their reputation. Definitely think your money would be better spent elsewhere as there are so many relaxed venues where the staff are much more professional. This really is a cheap joint trying to pass itself off as a something special.
We went here cos my friend had been before, but this time we didn't even get a chance to have a drink because the bartender was so obnoxious we refused to stay. He made us up the wrong drinks, but instead of trying to politely explain why we had misunderstood each other, he was blaming the whole situation on me, refusing to compromise whatsoever, it was very embarrassing as he was literally shouting at me across the bar. We refused to have the drinks I hadnt ordered and walked out with him shouting ' yeah you better leave'! So much for the customer always being right.
