A lovely restaurant that offers something different to other places in Balham. It has a very warm atmosphere and the staff are always helpful and attentive. The menu offers a lot of choice and you can choose from small meze type dishes and larger dishes for one person. It's very reasonably priced and there's a great cocktail menu as well. Well worth a visit.
I've lived in Balham for years now and have always walked passed dish dash saying I should go in there one day. That day came 2 nights ago. I couldnt believe I hadn't found it earlier. Great warm atmosphere with candles glinting every where. Staff were very helpful and smiley. With no discounts or freebes our bill only came to £35 for the two of us. Will definitly be returning.
have gone to dish dash a few times. service is usually good, although the last time (a slow sunday night) we waited for 15 minutes on our drinks (2 blts of red) i went to the bar to see what was happing, the only reply i got from the little blond bar maid was "they coming" in a somewhat rough tone and angey face to go with, when she brought our drinks they were slamed on the table and left. the other two girls working seemed uninterested in being there and were eqully sour. WONT BE BACK !
Had a meal at dish Dash Last night. With dimed lights and candles the restaurant had a great atmosphere. Staff were very frendly and always on hand when you needed something. As we hadn't been before we asked for recomendations. We were recomended the waitresses own favourites, which were fab. Would definitly visit again.
Lived in Balham for years, so I've seen the rise and fall of many places. We went to Dish Dash a few times, sometimes were better than others, but the service is always friendly, attentive and smiling.Bonus :-)) If you like to try different flavours, if you like herbs, houmous etc... then you will love dish dash. It's really nice. definitely worth a try.
We had a lovely night at Dish Dash. We weren't really intending to stay out but after dinner we sat in the bar and had another bottle of wine. Dish Dash is okay in my opinion.
