We had our Xmas party at this venue and all in our large party were extremely impressed. The food was excellent and they did such a great job catering to a range of dietary requirements. The drinks were reasonably priced and they have a fantastic cocktail menu.
The service we received was outstanding, We had a lovely team of Vita and Ryan looking after us. The manager Mel was very helpful and the owner Scott made sure we were all having a good time.
It is the first office function that all asked if we could book again, so we have. Highly recommended.
This pub was awful. I agree with the first review. I have never had the displeasure of being served by such rude staff. They seemed much more interested in giving drinks to their friends at the end of the bar. The best bit is my friend went to get two pints, the second being pulled short so the delightful woman at the bar told him that the first pint was "over filled" so that makes up for the second one. Ridiculous attitude and so unneccessary on a night out. The bar manager was also rude. I wouldn't go back to this pub if they paid me. If you want somewhere decent for your Christmas party of whatever, look elsewhere. An unfunny joke like their stupid obviously-written-by-them reviews floating around the Internet.
I went here last night for a friends party (they had hired out a private area). The pub itself is lovely, drinks were reasonably priced for central London, and didn't eat so can't comment on the food, but most of the staff were quite rude and full of attitude, and the bar manager was even ruder than the staff. What a vibe killer for what could have otherwise been a lovely London pub.
Had lunch with a friend here, I arrived early so I was setting up my laptop when the bar man came over and gave me the code to wifi,
love the pro action approach, and the lunch was just as good, and the chunkiest chips I have come across,
and the lunch special included the drink for free, can't ask for more!
I came here to eat here recently for lunch and shared a brown shrimp on toast and a Welsh Rarebit with a friend - both were delicious! We were also served by a handsome young waiter called Luigi who was really friendly and knowledgeable. I would definitely go back.
