If you’ve spent all your pay buying clobber at the DKNY store, make sure you’ve saved a few quid back and rest your weary feet whilst sipping on a crisp glass of wine at the DKNY bar.

The Venue
The DKNY Bar sits at the front of the DKNY fashion shop on Old Bond Street. The bar is clearly on display from the street, so it’s best avoided on days when you’re feeling less than your best. However, when you’re dressed to kill and looking for a fantastic spot of people watching, it is literally a shop-window from which to see and be seen.

The pristine bar is made up of gleaming stainless steel countertops and clean white tables and stools. With seating for less than 20, you won't be overwhelmed with people.

The Atmosphere
It's a bit like being on a catwalk with bright lights, pumping beats, flashing images, and a steady stream of people passing by. The staff are young and trendy, as are most of the customers.

The Food
The bar has a nice lunch menu of hot foods, salads, sandwiches and soups. Prices are what you expect for Bond Street. Afternoon tea comprising a cake or tart and a hot drink offers good value.

The Drink
A small but perfectly adequate wine list features enough selection for most tastes. There are also vintage and non-vintage Champagnes depending on your taste and budget. They also have a nice line of teas and freshly ground espresso for coffee drinks.

The Last Word
It's fun. It's chic. The DKNY bar is suitable for a pick-me-up when your feet need a well-worn rest from shopping.
