An old fashioned pub with an excellent choice of beers both on tap and bottled, The guinness is simply the best in London.
A friendly pub with no music so you can hear youself speak and occasionally a bit of football on the telly.

Yes, the food is good and the beers are great, but it is a shame that only the owner/chef's mates get the best food or portions and others don't get treated the same way at the Dog and Bell. Plus the chef's arrogance about food really put me off going back to the Dog and Bell ever again!

The Dog and Bell is a great pub. I've been going to the Dog and Bell for years, as it has good beer, good food and the bar staff are very friendly.

Well, the Dog and Bell used to be a lovely pub - the previous landlord and lady would never allow swearing in the pub and commanded a respectful atmosphere. Now it's just the complete opposite with lager louts and swearing becoming entirely accepted in front of the new management. It's now a disrespectful pub were I almost witnessed a fight between a lager lout and an old gentleman and the lager drinker has not even been barred!

The Dog and Bell's on a slippery slope down and I have to say it's far from being in my top pubs list. It's quite laughable.
