I agree with the other reviews on the staff...and I was in there on a Monday night! The woman at the door was so obnoxious that if I had been the one leading the group, we would have never entered. In all fairness, there were a few members of the staff who were nice to me, but they were still horrible to my guy friends. When I was really hot at one point, a bartender was kind enough to offer me a water (and not charge!!). Also, It was packed (I've seen many a filled club, but it's rare that I've actually had to step outside because I was feeling too claustrophobic). Furthermore, it didn't really seem all that VIP. The decor and crowd were tacky. We got a fishbowl (£150), which was quite good, though not strong. For now, I'll keep looking for another good club...

This club has an amazing barocco interior design. However, for a club that invested so much into the lounge interior, toilets are terrible. You would probably find a better toilet at MacDonalds. Combined with a lack of essential products for cocktails - by 12 o'clock they've run out of mint for mojitos. Margaritas were tasty though. Moreover, I dont mean to be mean, but for a club that puts itself as "vip, members and guestist only" - it is full of loud women with no manners or class whatsoever. There is no actual dancefloor (apart from a little podium where you can freely dance) so I would say that it is rather a lounge than a club. Music is so-so: average. Yet, TV monitors were constantly showing "SinCity" and regulary were stuck on the disk menu. Overall - give it two stars, just for the interior.

A horrfying experience!

I was in Dolce on a Saturday night and booked an area for my guests (football players and WAGS). What happened was unbelievable...

The service was terrible as the waiters and waitresses were soooo posh and ignored us completely. Nearly NO service and they charged us 15% for that!!!
The drinks? Well, let's say that I 've had worse cocktails, in some London Pubs...
But the star of the night was the Manager!
You see, we only asked for an explanation to our 6300 bill when he got really raw at us and told us to "pay and don't come back in here". Finally and after bothering to check it, he admitted that we were given the WRONG BILL and we paid ours for 4000.

Well, is that what it takes to get some service? Or a bit of RESPECT? At the end of the day we paid 4000 for a group of 9 of us... Pitty...
With staff and manager as such, we have put this club on the BLACKLIST of out nightout destinations.

Having heard about Dolce being the hotest new club in town i was very keen to see what all the fuss was about.

So when a member friend of mine invited us down for a birthday celebration i have to say how impressed i was with the club as a whole. The interior is like no other in town and we all had an amazing night there. Friendly staff and great cocktails what more could we ask for !! Just a question of waiting for my membership now......

i was in dolce on sat evening. the staff doesn't understand anything, the securitys were rude and arogant, we spent nearly £2000 and we couldn't get a proper service. there's so many competitive vip clubs around and if you're desire a good service don't go to dolce.

I had a very similar problem martha78!. I'd spent over 5k (seriously, it was a 1 off) and couldn't get proper service at all.. At one point my table ordered 3 magnums of grey goose yet we were given three bottles of this crap cavalli vodka! i had a go at the floor manager(was very polite to him) and with 2 hours left of the night.. he asked the head of security to come into his office and told him right in front of my face to throw myself and my table out of the club. He then went on to tell me that i was banned!! so basically he took my money then banned me! the club charges an extra 15% service charge and for what!? nothing!
to be honest it could be a really nice club if it just had better staff, oh well - Report
