A quiet pub now, which 30 years ago used to be very busy and you had to arrive early at lunch times, especially on a Friday, to get a drink and food.

Not much seemed to have changed, decor wise, which was fine by us. The food was not as interesting and tasty as we remembered, but filling and reasonably priced.

Good selection of beers and very friendly service. Good to know of a quiet retreat only minutes from the hub bub of Oxford Street.

The Dover Castle is nothing like the real thing. It is a small pub with really not much to look at. I thought it would have some war memrobilia around the place. The Dover does have cheap beers which is obviously the most important thing.
