El Paso is a great place to hang out with your friends. The Staff are welcoming and the food is spot on. The price are good value too, a big plate of nachos will only set you back a £5. El Paso also boosts a huge range of drinks and cocktails worthy of any pub or cocktail bar. Late last year the place had a big refit and it now looks the bee knees. It's now a great place for a spot of lunch and with free Wi-fi, power sockets you can spend all day surfing the net. Over all I love what they have done with the place and will keep coming back. Ps they function space in the basement holds some really cool shows now and goes by the name of "the Gopher Hole" well worth a look in on a Friday/ Saturday night.

South of the Border in the basement of EL PASO is a fantastic mexican themed live rock venue which I have now visited a few times.

Less sceney than the other Hoxton venues you can be sure of some great bands here at really cheap prices.

I always start the evening with a chilli at the cafe above which for just £7 ish is amazing value.

Good selection of drinks as well. Sofas in the venue are great to relax on after the bands.

The EP Bar, aka El Paso is a great little bar in Shoreditch. I go to EP Bar all the time with my mates and it has never failed to impress.
