I live right off acre lane and for some unknown reason, never knew this place existed. My wife and I were looking for somewhere to host a leaving party and as soon as we met one of the managers "Ross", we knew we had found the right place. All the staff couldn't have been more friendly or accommodating if they tried.

We had a fantastic night at Electric Social and will go back again for sure.

Cool music, very cool staff and a cracking venue!

A souless barn! Went on Saturday night with a group of friends. All the spaces were booked out so nowhere to sit or put your drink down if you wanted to. A Clapham crowd rather than a Brixton one-with no imgagination. The atmosphere completely refelcted this-all money and no trousers theme. Upstairs the music had no continuity, and the DJ's clearly didn't know their music-it was so random..but not in a good way. Downstairs the music was "Old Skool" and the female DJ played some fairly good tunes, but again had little idea. Cocktails were OK, but the rather keen bar staff collected two just bought cocktails, which at nearly eight quid a throw did not go down well. Needless to say we all went off to find a more soulful venue.

Hi Rufus,Thank you for taking the time to register with View London and post a review about our new venue in Brixton. As with any review we appreciate the good and bad constructively. I'm sorry to hear that your experience was unenjoyable and dissimilar to all the other great reviews we have been lucky enough to recieve on here. Saturday nights are now our busiest of the week and are fully booked in advance due to demand. However we do also accomodate approximately a further 200+ guests in the night who do not book. We are a music venue and pride ourselves on our music and DJ's, I am sorry if this was not to your taste. Like any business new or old we are extremely happy to welcome customers from all areas, be it Brixton, Clapham, Dulwich, Streatham, North, South, East or West London and we thank the people who do so. I would like to extend the offer of coming to have a meal and drinks on me for you and a friend to see exactly what we offer and hopefully for you to have an enjoyable experience at Electric Social Brixton. Please email me on jamie@electricsocial.com, Kind Regards, Jamie Edwards, General Manager

This is a great place. I went here for a friend's birthday, there was 18 of us for dinner and both the service and food wa great. The place itself is quite different and very funky, suits all age groups and the DJ Jon is the great and plays all sorts of music, you will surely be up by the end of the night, especially with the help of those gorgeous cocktails :-)

I recently had my 30th birthday drinks at the electric social and was really impressed by the venue (great atmosphere) and really helpful and attentive staff. The manager Jamie made a real effort to ensure the night went smoothly and made all my friends feel really welcome - I cant recommend this place enough for anyone wanting to have bday drinks etc, great drinks menu, really atmospheric and very very social. The upstairs club has a late licence (perfect) and a very mixed crowd - the whole place seems very convivial and upbeat, and the waiter/bar ma (blondeish young guy) was SO helpful, and made sure everyone was well looked after, thanks loads, cant recommend this place enough, Laura

Electric Social is my new favourite local lounge bar / club in Brixton! I celebrated my birthday there on Saturday. I reserved the very cool Snug - a little wood-panelled sunken area in the middle of downstairs with its own piano in the wall! We started early in the evening and had great food - I'd recommend the lamb burgers in particular. The cocktails are good value, there's a good selection of beers, and the cava went down well and is very reasonably priced for a bottle! We had excellent and attentive service from the friendly bar staff too. Later in the evening the place really filled up and it was a great atmosphere - old school tunes downstairs and then we went upstairs to the dancefloor! Overall I would say this is a really fun night out in one venue! My friends all thought it was great, worth coming to Brixton for. Thanks very much for a top night! :o)

Went on sat night with a big group and we all left loving it! The staff were really nice, but what we really noticed was that there was just a really happy, fun atmosphere. So much so that we went back on the sunday for roasts - and could not have been more impressed. A total new Brixton favourite!

Went to Electric Social on Friday night and had one of the best nights in a very long while! I loved the decor and the atmosphere & staff were really welcoming. I'm pleased to say that a lot of thought has gone into the ladies toilets.

DJ, A Skillz was amazing, my friends and I didn't leave the dance floor for hours. Would highly recommend Electric Social and can't wait to go back!
