Had our post Christmas party here on Friday 6th January, despite the restaurant/bar being quite busy the service was welcoming, friendly and efficient - we were well looked after by two lovely waitresses. After a champagne reception and amuse bouche we tucked into a 3 course meal. The squid was fabulous, my Seabass main course was superb and the sticky toffee pudding to die for. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meal - we will definitely be back.

Terrible!!

I live locally and have seen a gradual slip in standards for the Elephant (previously known as the Teybridge).

We boOKed a table for 3pm for a Sunday roast, and found out on arrival that we didn't have a table, so a makeshift table was provided. We waited 45m for our table to become available.

The food is ok at best. The Sunday roast used to be superb, but the standard has definitely fallen.

The staff are generally friendly, although the manager was very insincere, and not overly friendly.

I wont be going back.

I went to Elephant on the Hill on Saturday for lunch it was my friends hen night and we were looking for somehwere to go for lunch which was relaxed with good food and somewhere we could have a laugh. Elephant on the Hill gave us all this and more. The staff were lovely even decorating our table with ballons etc. The food was great I recommend the sirloin steak! I will definitly be returning.
