I asked for Bernard Unfiltered and as soon as I saw the way it was being pulled my heart sunk.It took around 20 sec to pull it that slow the stream was and the miniature head on my beer lasted no more than several seconds. And there was too much CO2.They managed to made this fantastic world class lager into an average one.

I could tell this place is owned by Bloomsbury Lanes, by the giant pizzas being delivered to the table next to me.

Beer list is without doubt the best and deepest in London. Think of it like a wine list and you not be put off by expensive beers. After all the house pours start from £2.70 a pint.

Run by a American guy who seems to know his stuff and a fast paced team. I have to say this is a big improvement from my visit in December, when the service was patchy and bar messy. Plus they now have two toilets!

The American Bar Manager is actually Time from Masterchef!! Wow. However according to some sources The General manager is Tony Lennon, former David Brice brewer from Capital. I've met this guy before and his 'only the best will do' attitude is winning him great praise. Since these two guys were put in place in the new year the place has exploded with customers, and rightly so too.

Fantastic range of beer~probably the best in London; but eye-wateringly expensive. I fully appreciate that an high-strength micro-brewery porter should cost more than a glass of London Pride, etc., don't throw any of the usual: you're-cheap-; obviously-you-need-to-go-back-to-Wetherspoon's-, if-you-want-quality-you-have-to-pay-for-it-type responses to the comment on expensive prices; I'm not cheap, I'm not naive~it's just expensive.

Euston Tap has a range of beers at a sliding scale of price levels...

TryOne might not have noticed that the Tap has at least 4 quality beers under £3.00 per pint...actually the Thornbridge Wild Swan is about £2.70! Not even his beloved JDW does that.

US micros are sadly very expensive to import and have little margin. Its not that high abv beers should cost more...they do as the duty is higher.

Sadly nothing beats a headline.
