Hidden and subterranean, Finos Wine Cellar is a secret little world of wine.

The Venue
Finos Wine Cellar is located beneath Delfinos Pizzeria. Once you descend the stairs, it opens up into a seating area with a lengthy rectangular bar area with an open kitchen behind. The ceilings are low, but with plenty of white paint and bright light it avoids feeling dingy. There are places to lean and places to perch where you can watch the action in the kitchen. The bar has a battered copper top that matches the copper-coloured tiles on the walls and there are plenty of nooks and crannies to lose yourself in.

The Atmosphere
The patrons at Finos Wine Cellar are a suited-and-booted office crowd but ties are loosened and a merry buzz fills the air. The old school bartenders keep things clipping along and you don't have to wait long for your drink.

The Food
The food menu in the restaurant is gorgeous with pasta and other Italian delights. The bar has a menu of its own with various sandwiches and well-priced hot food that will still leave you money for wine.

The Drink
For draught drinkers, Greene King IPA seems to be the most popular pump. Bottled beer, whiskey and other spirits are available but being a cellar, the extensive wine offering is the main attraction. Most of the wine is Italian with some very interesting, reasonably priced options.

The Last Word
Who knew it was here? Once you find and experience the hospitality of Finos Wine Cellar you are likely to come back.
