Just read the post by Anonymous- what??? Cold and uninteresting are not words you could use to describe Firefly!! It was busy and friendly when I went. Maybe things have changed a lot since 2009...

Met a friend here after work for a drink and a catch up as its close to the tube (and I've been to their other bar near the old bailey). Really nice place, relaxed and friendly. Had Thai food for dinner which was tasty and not overpriced. Great local bar.

A group of us went to Firefly to try their new Thai food, and it was some of the best Thai I have ever eaten. Aparently they started Thai food a few months ago, and they have got it spot on. The most expensive dish was £7.50 including rice.

The waitress looking after us was so smiley and helpful, even though she was rushed off her feet.
The cocktails were tasty, and 2-4-1, all topped off wine some nice wine.

I would recommend Firefly to anyone looking for great cheap Thai food will some great drinks too.

Went there for drinks with friends last night. Seemed to lack soul and seemed quite a cold uninteresting place. I ordered a Hendrix Gin as a treat, which was served with tonic water from the tap and a slice of lime (should always be cucumber).

How you can make Hendrix gin taste bad i have no idea but they managed to ruin it and kindly charge a hefty amount to do so. When some of our friends met us also they found there beers and another spirit and mixer tasted awful and was overpriced.

We left our drinks and are happy to never throw our money down the drain there again.

I like this bar- its smaller than its namesake in Clapham but always seems to be doing really well. It now a regular meeting place for dinner and drinks after work with my friends.
