Visited flavas for the first (and last) time last night. I wanted to take my girlfriend out to a cafe/shisha place for some food, shisha and music, maybe with a bit of dancing. Flava’s seemed a good place on the website. I phoned in advance and they said I could get served food up until 10.30pm. I asked if this was the full regular menu and they said yes. We ordered shwarma dishes and were not impressed by the food (was obviously just warmed up and not cooked fresh as it arrived in 2 minutes). But most importantly, we BOTH got really bad food poisoning. I have been in and out of the bathroom since last night and it was the only main meal I had so was definitely the result of the food. Apart from that, dancefloor and main bar area was empty, and the shisha garden was full of annoying asian chavsters (I am asian myself so I am not being racist). Avoid this place unless you are an asian hoodie chav who goes out with 50 other chav guy mates and you avoid the food).

This place does not deserve any praise what so ever - was there yesterday for the 1st time with my cousin who just moved to london ,

Guys and gals all i can say visit this place if you enjoy being treated like a non human being - i wont go into it but alot of people i spoke to after i left outside the venue where all saying the same , i will never spend a penny in that place again and anyone i speak to i will tell them what im telling you , and as the other revioewer stated the bouncers walk around like the FBI - and talk to very single person like absolute garbage - this pl;ace does not deserve a penny og anyones hard earned money my advice if your looking for a decent place to go out avoid ealing and definatly avoid this place no doubt - ealing died a death a long time ago -it used to be a to place but those days are long gone.. 1much better places to go now, better yet stay at home & drink smoke at your own pleasure and not have tooi give your money too people who dont appreciate your custom.

I don't understand these negative reviews, I was there last night for the third Thursday in a row and I love the place! The atmosphere is awesome, and every Thursday there is a group called Reuben Richards [I think it was called Soul Train before].Drinks are the usual London price, and there is a large shisha area outside [will try that out next week].

The queue for smoking can take a little while, but to be honest, at least we're not all smushed outside smoking, where you end up accidentally burning someone with your ciggie because its too packed. Plus I'm pretty sure there are laws about how many people venues can have outside, so its not so much the security being anal, its just the fact that there are too many smokers! [I'm a smoker, so I can't complain].So yea... Awesome!

Vylet is clearly on the staff (read her reviews carefully), so take her words with a pinch of salt!

Otherwise, yes, Flavas is busy. Yes, it takes a while to get served. Yes, prices are above average. But that's because Ealing offers very little in the way of bars, and if truth be known, Flavas is amongst the best pre-club venues. If you don't enjoys these sorts of places, Ealing has a number of good pubs for a quieter drink. Or you can jump on a bus.

(I don't smoke, so there's one queue I need not bother about.)

Lol, I don't work there, I suck at bar work. Tried it before, can't deal with it. I'm more of an office person.

The staff were more than polite, the atmosphere was welcoming, the food was good quality and the night was a great one.
