We were in Europe in October of 2008. We stumbled on this restaurant and were surprised. This was my favorite food in all of europe for a main dish. The chicken pie was unimaginable. Me and my boyfriend could not believe it. It was truely amazing. Can't wait to go back. I totally trust that place.

Great pub-we stay around the corner at the Boulevard when we visit london and often eat at the Abbey.Good Food and service.
We will be back in 2009

Nice enough pub, until you try to pay using Scottish banknotes. Apparently,



The police have told us not to take them as there's been a lot of forgeries.



Shame they just didn't work out how to check for genuine notes rather than adopt this attitude. I asked for the name and badge number of the police officer but surprisingly, this wasn't available. Oh well, there are plenty of other pubs where my money is accepted. I can't work out how to give no stars. Sorry.
