I went to Grace last week for a girly night, we had a lovely meal in the restaurant (the pre theatre menu) what a bargain! We then went to Mamma Mia (which I can highly recommend too :-o) after a lovely meal and show we wanted a few more bevvies so went back to Grace and the doorman and smiley host recognised us from earlier so we got straight in! Quick and friendly service.
A fabulous start and end to our theatre experience in the heart of London we loved it and couldn't talk it up any more!

Incredibly rude staff, if your gonna go to this place you better talk quickly when ordering your drink, otherwise the bar lady will roll her eyes back and walk away from you. If you have a stammer then you've got no chance in this place, I just walked out when i got that rude response, don't go here, the staff are extremely miserable and rude.

Went to Grace last week for the first time and had a fantastic evening. The staff were very helpful and the food was amazing. They also have Happy Hour until 9pm - you can't beat that! I will definitely be returning soon!

Management is unhelpful, slow and rather rude. Have had terrible experience so far of trying to book a birthday party, there is constant miscommunication, with manager and staff all telling you different things at different times.

Unfriendly and incompetent service. 40+ of us had just one waiter (he was also serving other tables!) for the first 15 minutes to serve up our starters. No drinks were served, not even water until we had almost finished our starters. Service was incredibly slow even when 2 more grumpy waiters arrived. Some of us got what we had ordered weeks in advance, others made do with what was left and some of us finished one course whilst others waited ages to be served. Really badly organised and it was all the worse for the pissed off attitude of staff. The food itself was very average. One last point - the ladies loos were all either blocked, broken and/or dirty apart from one. The only positive was I wasn't paying to dine here. Shame whoever booked it at work hadn't looked at all the previous bad reviews first cos they weren't wrong!

Booked & paid in November for 21 people to eat at 8:30pm by 10:10 no sign of a table and could not move without being jostled and barged by the visitors and staff alike, went elsehere and will never return! It is a dis'GRACE' that Grace Bar has caused me and my Company a great deal of embarrassment with clients and staff! The venue was drastically overcrowded, which I am sure contravenes licensing and Health & Safety rules and Fire Safety. The evening was totally ruined by the events of the evening not managed professionally by the management and or staff, who we found to be extremely rude and brutish; my wife and others had been pushed and shoved on numerous occasions throughout the evening by their weighting / bar staff and door persons, which is unacceptable, they do not provide a safe and hospitable venue in my opinion.GIVE THIS ONE A VERY WIDE BERTH TO AVOID DISSAPONTMENT!

Yikes, perhaps the worst place I have been out in London.

Just had a Christmas party there, it would have been better had we all just turned up at a random bar en-mass. We essentially were chucked onto a few tables in a really crowded bar.

We did get some vouchers for drinks, but once they had stopped we were hit with the astronomical prices. A 275ml bottle of Becks for £5.50! I know it is in a bottle so more expensive, but they have strayed into the world of an £11 pint!

The bar staff were pretty shoddy. If you are going to have the balls to charge so much, at least make it as enjoyable experience as possible.

I'm not really a fan of having someone in the loo's asking for money to hand you paper towels because they have de-activated the hand dryer, and here was no exception.

It reminded me of going out to clubs when I go back home to the provinces. Drastically overpriced drinks, gruff bouncers, terrible bar staff and a sense of wanting to desperately be somewhere else.

At least it was so miserable the hangovers today in the office are pretty minor.

Becks Vier is £5.40 a pint. Highest I've ever seen in Soho before this is £4.25.

I went to the bar, ordered 2 x 2-pint pitchers of Staropramen at £5.60 a pint. I was asked for £25.60. I asked Andrew the bartender how much they were each and to add it up again, because I knew he had pre-tipped the £5.60 pints. He returned and told me it was £22.40. I handed over my credit card, and was given the credit card machine to enter my PIN... that said over £45. I told him this was ridiculous. He said they were 4-pint pitchers. I showed him that it was clearly written on the side they were 2-pint pitchers and I pressed cancel on the credit card machine. He got a manager, the manager agreed he was wrong, and so he gave it back to me, this time saying £34, now claiming they were 3-pint pitchers. Another manager, and finally I was given the correct - yet still outrageous - price of £22.40 for 4 pints.

As if £5.60 a pint isn't enough, they tried to rip me off by another £23 when I handed over my credit card.

You don't need to know much more about this place. Music was dated and it was full of suits. It's horrific. Stay away.
