The sloppy was a perfect word for service, the minimum 10 GBP spent per person is printed in a small print, so not a good place to just have a coffee or plain tea priced @ 4 GBP.
The shrewd looking waiter from far -eastern country, managed to forget our order within a minute of us ordering. So after second try, he brought 2 teas and a hot chocolate after 15 minutes of it being ordered.
Being ready to pay I was faced with a cover charge of 58% of the bill total i.e. count your bill being 60% higher when you are ready to pay! When I’ve tried to dispute the cover charge he pointed out that minimum 10 GBP applies, so he was doing me and my parents a favour for not making us to spend 30 GBP+ charging us service charge on top of that, instead the total being under the 30 GBP including exuberant extras! Totally disgusting behaviour for a hotel of that level. Would avoid at by all means.
