Definitely improved in recent months after a bit of a lull in quality. Love the atmosphere here - great place for a relaxed Sunday

My favourite local . Freshly cooked meals at reasonable prices..every dish is a must try. The menu caters to all taste and changes often to make a return visit de regeur..

The chalk board posts all their menu for the day. They bake their own bread in-house and they are moist with lingering flavour of virgin olive oil, the taste of warm , hearty comfort food..

The staff are mainly young trendy and friendly..efficient and very well informed of their menu .Seating arrangements could be improved but then it would detract from the delectable dishes...

Decor is basic, could be more creative to capture the Bohemian village feel..but it also shows they are not pretentious,,they focus on making your tummy very happy..

Try their steak...better than Popes Eye down the road which specialises in steak. Cooked to perfection and you will not leave a single scrap on your dish..the best evidence that the chef knows how to seduce and pander to your appetite..

The dessert is to die for , so choose carefully and don't fill up with the bread to allow for a slice of heaven after the main course..Only complain is they are so good that it gives me no incentive to try other pubs locally...

Open till late and you can get a bite anytime and leave sated and happy.

Don't go here. Go to the Priory on Milson Road instead - it's much nicer plus the staff actually care what they serve up
