We went to Haymarket Hotel (pool bar) last night at 7pm and it was full.........we waited upstairs in the hotel bar and were told we would be told when there was space for us! Can't beleive this place was so rammed.

We got in at 7.45pm and saw a FABULOUS show (drag queens and boy dancers but not tacky at all) the buzz has been huge about this place and we were not disapointed. BUT the drinks are hugely expensive. Two glasses of wine were £8 each and small glasses (well plastic) as they cant use glass as it is by the pool. It is glamourous and being a 5 star hotel I guess the drinks prices reflect this.

A great trendy crowd who were loving the night BUT and this is the HUGE BUT

it finished last night. There are no more nights like this. I spoke to three staff who all gave differnet reasons but it was a shock as it is so busy and seems crazy to stop it.

I spoke to one of the drag queens at the end and they did say they were going to do their show at a ne wplace, which I love too called Floridita in Soho. I gave them my biz card and he said he would email with details. Defo would go and see them again with friends.

I called Floridita and they said the drag queens start there in May.

A great night at the Haymarket - why is it stopping?
