There is no way you will ever see me leaving a heeltap in a glass of wine from the Heeltap. It bears a resemblance to the standard wine bar but excels by doing everythihng that little better.


The food is good and therefore better than what most gastro-pubs offer. My Bangers and Mash clearly had a lot of effort put into it and my companions Rib-Eye steak was of similar quality. There is a good wine selection to go with this quality and consequently the Heeltap is a splendid place to spend lunch or dinner.

I love going to Heeltap & Bumper for a pint and a pie, what the hell does the name Heeltap & Bumper mean though?
