I came here with friends on a sunny September afternoon. We all ordered food and about 20 mins later the barmaid approached my friends to say their first choice wasn't available.

They ordered again and 30 mins later their meal arrived. I'd ordered at the start and when my friends' meal arrived and mine was still missing I asked the waitress (surly, pink & black hair) where my food was.

She claimed not to have recognised me (despite having been given a table number at the bar) and she said she'd given my lunch to someone else. HOW RUDE!

By this point I'd been waiting about an hour and the waitress' excuse of 'sorry, we're very busy today' (which they weren't) just didn't cut it.

I suggest they fire the incompetent and stroppy girl and hire some people who can carry out the simple task of relaying the orders from the customers to the kitchen.

DO NOT GO TO THIS PUB IF YOU'RE HUNGRY- THERE ARE PLENTY OF RESTAURANTS NEARBY!!

I think this is a great pub considering how awful so many are in Canary Wharf.

It is as close to a proper pub as it gets. The service is friendly and normally pretty good, the food is great and not expensive at all, in fact possibly the best value in the wharf too. Plus you can reserve tables in the dining area with waitress service.

Avoid the All Bar Ones and head here for a great lunchtime pint. Hard to beat in E14.
