I was chuffed to come across the function room upstairs - my colleagues were really impressed with the new venue for our monthly networking evenings.( a big change to our usual reserved areas in the local pub) great drinks and music with no extra cost to the big boss :-)

I know not many people know about this venue as I believe it is rather new. The function room upstairs has been beautifully decorated - My partner and I were very pleased with our engagement party we hosted here last week. Big Thanks to all the helpful staff as all my guests aswell as myself had an amazing night!!

I must say this is a great venue- I love the relaxed homely atmosphere!Particularly fond of the background jazz music. Me and my friends really enjoyed our evening. They should possibly consider a jazz night with a band - Highly recommended will definitely be back

I really like this venue. I have been coming here a few times recently- A great success of a cocktail bar- it is a beautiful venue with sit down areas. Ideal place to host a party.

Was here for lunch last week and yeah one of the waiters stood straight up but with his head looking down at his feet, thing is the only time he would stop looking at his feet is when he serves someone, then he carries on looking at his feet... If he was praying he would have his eyes shut or would he? Weird

In a word. Terrible. I've visited twice now. First time was cold soup, got the orders wrong quite a lot, epitomised by us asking for butter about 3 times, to which the waiter said he would bring some and when he did bring "it", he actually brought water. The service was slow despite being pretty much empty.

Decided to try again with a client, thought perhaps they'd had an off day first time round. The place was empty (probably for good reason), within two minutes we were asked if we would like drinks, good start. I asked for a couple more minutes to decide, the waiter then left us for 10-15 minutes sitting there whilst he stood next to the till and pretty much stared at his feet.

Found the whole thing very odd so we walked out. Shame as the place is actually very convenient for us.

Iv been meaning to come to holburn house for a while now. My collegue invited me here for lunch . It is a clean, cosy and modern venue. They are currently doing a great lunch deal for £6 - I had the aubergine and courgette curry which came with rice and my collegue had spaghetti bolognese. The food came fast so perfect timing for our lunch break. It was a shame they didnt have their front doors opened out as iv seen it before as the weather was hot. We have an area reserved for a small staff night out next week so looking forward to trying their cocktails. :-)

I organised a leaving party for my work colleagues and was recommended Holborn House. We were given the first floor exclusively for all our staff. The space is very beautiful and everyone was really impressed with the evening. There is a small bar upstairs where they prepared cocktails on arrival for all our attendees. The only thing negative I would have to say is that there is no toilet on the first floor which meant my guests had to go down to ground floor to use the bathrooms there ( which to be fair was not a huge problem) I do recommend this venue for private hire- the staff are very accommodating !

This place has good offer now for lunch and really nice food!

Great Venue for hire - I used Holborn House last week for my team building event with colleagues. The evening ran very smoothly with the help of the staff - Big Thank-you to Kayleigh for helping to organise the night and putting up with a group of rather jolly colleagues by the end of the night... Its very close to our offices so we shall be returning to check out more of those great cocktails.!

I had no idea this place existed. Its an undiscovered gem in Holborn. Great food- brilliant menu choice. I came here yesterday after meeting my daughter on her lunch break. They had a brilliant lunch offer !Highly reccomend :-)Joanne

I came here for lunch with some friends I was catching up with . The food is delicious and really great value , love the ambience and relaxed atmosphere. Friendly waitress! We will all definately return :-)

I went for dinner at Holborn House last night with a few of my girlfriends. We had a lovely night. I was greeted by lovely friendly staff, the food was delicious the cocktails where even better and the music was really good too. Over all we really enjoyed our evening.
Will definitely be going there agains soon!! If you haven't already been I highly recommend it - think we're going to try out their club nights on saturday nights too!!

If you plan on having a private party DO NOT use Holborn House. I attended recently for an event thrown by colleagues and found the staff (especially the woman at the door and the bouncer on that evening) both rude and patronising. The event was ticketed and I witnessed the bouncer grab and throw a guest's ticket to the ground, and proceed to attempt to refuse him entry. The club staff lied about available space, forcing paid guests to wait upwards of 30 minutes to enter an event when they had been guaranteed ticketed entry. The woman working at the door was also excessively rude to event organisers. In addition to the all around bad attitude there were only two bartenders on staff for a party of hundreds. I frequently had to wait upwards of 10 minutes for change as they had run out of money at the bar, and they ended up running out of beer as well! I had fun with my friends that night but as a nightclub, it is not worth the hassle. If you are looking to have a well run event with guests who are treated properly, I suggest you take your business elsewhere.

Mixed mezzes, good beer selection, great music, fast service and cute waitresses, not much more one could ask for! The boys and I will be back!!!!

I visited Holborn House last week for dinner and drinks with my partner.

The service was fast and professional and the food was fresh and exceptionally good value. I had the fillet of beef, it was tender and cooked to perfection.

The cocktails were to die for, mixed a cool bar tender.
My favourite, the bar tenders own creation, Appletini with a twist.

My husband and I will definitley be not only returning but recommending Holborn House to all of our friends and family.

Its a 10/10 from us!

Great dinner at Holborn House. Can't believe we got 19 of us round a table at the same time and that there was so much to celebrate round the table since we qualified. Thanks Tara for your hospitality - food was amazing!

Holborn House did not impress me or my colleagues on a recent night out. We were assured there was a diverse canape menu which sounded exciting on paper, but in reality, it was just all pre packaged frozen food or the sort you can pick up from Iceland. The cocktails we ordered also came half full and we were told everything was 'measured'. Now, I have been to a fair few cocktail bars in London, some of the best around the world and never before have I seen or heard anyone 'measure out' the spirits for cocktails. A bit of a joke if you ask me, although I must admit it is not the staffs fault (they were great). Questionable management however.

Attended Holborn House on Wednesday 14 December. A group of about 8 of us arrived in time for "Happy House", 2-1 cocktails and house wine for £12. However, staff were unable to cope with drinks order, even though we arrived at different times and didn't all go to the bar at once. Also, we were told that only House White was £12 and if we wanted House Red it would cost us £20 (this did not comply with their website). We argued our case and got a bottle of red for £12 however, when we went up for a second bottle we had to go all through it again as they were going to charge us £20. We tried to order food but was told no food was going cooked that night (even though we had been told food was being served after 7pm).

It wasn't very busy in there and the staff really didn't offer a very good service (apart from the chap wiping the tables down, he came to our table every 5 mins!)

I would certainly think twice about going again. There are so many other bars that offer a much better service and for similar prices.

Went to Holborn House last night 19th Nov, was expecting a amazing club but the place is pretty average, don't expect it to be lavish as some of Londons other clubs, I been to Jalous, Movida, Bungalow 8 etc and this place is no way in the same league! Had a table booked for 6 but we only had seats for 3 and others had to stand. Gets very busy about midnight, music is good but it might as well be a average club in Lecister square.. I would not go again!

Went on a Saturday for a girlie night out and had such an AMAZING night! The DJ and music were on point, me and my girls had fun dancing the night away.I booked through the Starr Parties website, which was really quick and easy. Being on their guest list got me a table and drinks! I recommend using them, I know I will be especially for a bigger night out like a birthday.I'd recommend Holborn House for anyone that is up for a fun night out. The staff were really nice, they weren't pretentious like at other clubs. Bar service was really good too!Thanks for a really great night! I will definitely be going there again and soon!
