wow, I'm not the only one that thinks the staff ruin this place. The landlady is a nightmare and the staff could not be ruder. Also, the barstaff aren't trained very well as to making drinks. Its a cute space, but the nasty people in there will wreck your night. Go elsewhere!

Tasteless, crowded, bad service, worse prices - if you want to show someone a rubbish night out, this is the joint to do it in. The most unholy place there is when it comes to a decent pint.

How can you possibly say this? I have been to the Holy Drinker a fair few times and its always a great night. Im not a posh Claphamite nor do I appreciate being overcharged for a drink and I think this place makes a lovely change from all the generic chain bars that litter Northcoat Road. Staff are great, music is bloody brilliant and its crowded for a reason!! I love this bar.

Spent a serene evening here after a long business trip relaxing with my best mate and gorgeous girlfriend...until the mean landlady hit the lights and instantly told us to bugger off before snapping visciously at my girlfriend. Life's too short to pay good money in horrible places like this. Don't bother
