This is a cosy, friendly pub with a very strong sense of history. The staff are great, the place itself is comfortable and inviting. Great selection of drinks and good food too, at reasonable prices.

Popped along to the Hoop and Grapes when I first moved to London after going on one of the Jack the Ripper tours. Can't recommend the Hoop and Grapes highly enough. Always tell all of my mates to go here.

London pubs don't get much better or more authentic in my opinion. Pubs like this are what living in an historic city like London's all about!
