do not go to this pub they say bands are comming that have not been booked as i know this because i am in one that was put on a advert i have known other bands that have worked here and not been fully paid the owners do not know what they are doing and do not care about there customers i have visited this place as a customer and it looks like a dump with drinks over priced at nearly £5 a pint which tastes watered down the security try to steal from you it is a place to avoid

This has been my local for the last four years and I love it. The atmosphere is always great, with all different types of music, burlesque, DJs and entertainment.

The beer garden is excellent and there is nothing I like more than a enjoying a drink and a burrito (the kitchen serves the best Mexican food!) on a sunny afternoon. But saying that I don't know any other pub in London that still packs out its beer garden on a rainy day as well!

Always good fun with lots of fun and bubbly people. Brixton's finest!

Had a fab time here last Saturday with some friends. There was an awesome drum n bass band and then a reggae band on - both very good fun and everyone was dancing about (like lunatics in some cases).

Very busy, but didn't take me long to get served, and Red Stripe on tap = awesome.Didn't stay late as wanted to get home (old... sob) but on the way out decided to grab some chicken from the BBQ that had been tempting me all night.

My god, that piece of chicken was HUGE! Literally half a chicken! And loads of salad and sauces too - basically it was scrummy.

Definitely worth a visit if you're around the area one weekend.

its good to see a venue having a ska night, however beware

i booked tickets for a gig there and was told by checking with the venue first that the show would be on from 8 to 10 and therefore would be able to get back home to outside london the same night, but then found out by ringing venue before show that gig wouldnt start until gone 11 and finish 1 ish so there fore could not go as i couldnt get public transport home.

the venue did not advertise this change on their website and still dont put gig times on there even though when you book tickets you are told 730 or 8pm reality is 11 or 12, this is very misleading, i was given a partial refund only and was tolld their times would be showed to advoid other people loosing money but still they have not done this, its a shame. they are out to take your money only.
