I found this pup quite by accident after finding 4 or 5 pubs shut on Easter weekend. The Steak and Ale pie I had was excellent, I suppose, because, I'm from "up north" I thought £10.25 was a bit expensive, but it was worth every penny. Really succulent beef in puff pastry with smashing mash potato and fresh broccoli which were perfectly cooked and washed down with a couple of pints of Fullers London Pride really hit the spot. Next time in London I will definitely visit H.D & Q again.
Give it ago, I'm sure you will not be disappointed.

A brilliant historic pub close to the Tower of London, ideal for a few pints and possibly lunch during a day trip to the area.
