Wicked venue with a mixture of city workers and Shoreditch bods. Some find this venue confusing but I think its bang on the money. Out of the main stretch of the city you don't get the arrogance that goes hand in hand with most city bars. Djs playing cracking tunes, not the cheese found in the city, but to be honest, its the atmosphere on a whole that brings you back to this restaurant/bar/ club space. service is friendly and attentive and the bar is great fun on a Thurday night when you can roll dice to win drinks at the bar.
Its a space, a space of mixture, of encounter, and above all of intellectual, political and musical expression. One must imagine this exactly as one has always considered musical mash-up production, or the production of any capital for that matter: as an accumulation. But accumulation that is more than the simple accrual of parts. It is a new CREATION which is not an act of genius, and certainly not something individual, or something that belongs only to avant-gardes but to all those who attend. This is the renascence of collective resistance to the normative nights out we suffer, as a result of the mainstream bull-shit! My point is that, for resistance to be cumulative, there must be recurrence, repetition, continuity and long-term social temporalities. And that is just what "Nobody Dont Dance No More ensures!!
Industry bar is a nice place to be and the people are really friendly. Very good music.
However, it can be a bit noisy with people's voices and sometimes at Industry I could not really hear the music playing.
Industry is great, a cool place with some great tunes. I frequent the place regularly and often give dancing lessons specializing in break dance and robotics. The staff are very cool, friendly and very chatty.
The food was great at Industry, had a sausage sandwich and red sauce. Great place.
Popped in to Industry on a Friday for the first time since it changed from Lime and, wow, what a difference. Industry is classy and chic, bit Shoreditch, bit city. They have great food and the basement bar/club is the place to boogie.
Industry is the brainchild of Jamie Oliver's protegees from Fifteen. I thought Industry was honest and comfortable and I really admire the effort that they have put into the place. I'm impressed.
Had a party at Industry in a private area. Great bar with plenty of space, loads of cool decor and furniture. The staff were all really friendly too and just encouraged a good time at very fair prices. It really came to life after 10pm and we headed downstairs to be greeted by more funky music and a dancefloor area. Industry is only 6 months old but check it out before everyone hears about it.
