Nothing VIP about the VIP room apart from the price! Had a good night but that was more to do with the company I was with than the place and the staff.
Experience of booking and getting information is just terrible. Whoever they get to answer the phone needs some serious lessons in customer service....and how to be polite. Couldn't get me off the phone quick enough and told me to look online.
Once there the night is ok, extortionately overpriced for what you get - a stark room with no atmosphere - but it does the job. Song selections were fine.
I went to karaoke box on Saturday with a large group of friends. The evening had been booked a long time ahead and all the details had been discussed with the venue. However the staff were repeatedly rude and unfriendly. We had to pay a service charge for the food yet bringing cutlery and serviettes to eat pizzas with was too much effort for them. I have never written a review of a pub or club before but felt compelled to. If you are thinking of organising an event here, don't do it!
The manager at Smithfield is very rude. Would recommend him to take customer service classes. Would never recommend going here ever.

Having always stuck to Soho for karaoke, I was apprehensive to try elsewhere, and sadly I was proved right, it was ridiculously overpriced £240 for 2 hours, the song selections are quite limited, drinks in the bar were extortionate and it just seemed a little strange and clinical for karaoke, the rooms have no atmosphere it feels more like the Tate than somewhere to get your groove on.
Fantastic venue, haven't been to a venue that is so stylish yet the staff's are all very freindly! For those don't enjoy karaoke still the venue is cool as they have excellent cocktail bar and amazing home made pizza!
Perfect for Birthday do's and hen night!
