this place is really boring.

My mates and I used to go there every Thursday night, but we got so sick of being humiliated by the horrendously rude and despicable staff that we stopped going even though it was convenient and open late.

The live music is good and the venue is nice, but the staff ALWAYS manages to find a way to f**k your night up without warrant. True story: I was dancing with my girlfriend, just me and her, and the guard pulls me outside for a "random" search. He searches my wallet, all of my pockets and everything for weapons and drugs. Not humiliating or anything...

I've visited hundreds, if not thousands of bars, and I've never encountered a staff half as rude as that bar. Don't think you're exempted, ladies, my girlfriend got searched top to bottom and treated awfully as well.

All of my friends from uni, about 20-30 of us, always used to meet up there. After about 4-5 times there, each of us had a horror story about the staff to tell.

DON'T COME HERE!

Horrible doorman. Unbelievably rude and unnecessarily aggressive. The bar itself is a fun place to grab a quick drink with friends, but stay longer than one round and you will be depressed by the horrid decor and dreadfully dull crowd.

Kavanaghs have the worst doorman in town, he's horribly rude and it's unacceptable door etiquette for any bar in London. Kavanaghs is the perfect way to kill a wonderful Saturday night.
