Kensington Wine Rooms has got the wine element in its name, but I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food as well. Nice rustic interior, dark brown wooden furniture. I read the review from 2 years ago on the other website about pleasant staff and for those who liked waiter Baptiste from Versailles, I have got good news - he still works there! I thought that it was my fantastic companionship what kept my friend over there - she didn't want to leave at all, but it might have been the charm of Baptiste and his French colleague, the real reason! The other review was praising the chef from Bulgaria - Yasek, yes we can confirm he still cooks there and the food tastes great! And for those who like wine and are worried about Enomatic wine machines - you don't have to purchase a Wine Card and insert the card into the card reader. You can chose the sample of the wine while sitting at the table and above mentioned waiting staff can bring it to you :-)martina Akbari

Lovin this new style wine bar. Loads of great wines and a good range of prices. Lovely interior.

Those hams and a glass of red go together soooo well!

Your reviewer's write up is spot on - this is a fab, fab, fab, description of the Wine Rooms!

But I'm really disappointed that your reviewer Mischa Khan has left no other feedback about herself.

I've read some of her other reviews about places I know and they are just as good.

Are you hiding something - why is she being so coy? Have googled her?? and could find nothing.

Is she a he or a famous person who doesn't want to be identified?! Would love to know her/his real identity!!!

Look forward to reading some more of the mysterious 'Mischa Khan's' reviews!

I live in Holland Park and have visited The Kensington Wine Rooms several times over the last month.

I just love their wine dispense machines!! I've done some good tastings as they offer something like 50 wines by the glass.

Lovely tapas, particularly the grilled calamari and pimientos (hard to find in London), and the bavette and tempura fish and chips are firm favourites with the family.

The Kensington Wine Rooms looks great. Superb interior.

Good range of wine. Check out the big Ibericos hanging behind the bar.
