Owners of the club are charming gentlemen and versatile for clientele needs. Bar staff are fun, attentive and very good for making cocktails which alas is rare around the chelsea area,The table girls are very friendly and attentive, though only serious issue this club has which shall prevent it from making it big is the horrendous choice of door men, the music/dj and the somewhat bizarre clients that often slide through their doors...(overflow of 151??!!). SHAMEIndia x sorry
Went on a weekday night with some friends, the clubs owner was a real gent, introducing himself and found all the staff all very helpful, and attractive to boot! Although there were some issues with bouncers. I'll be back for sure.
Please don't go here! It's one of those places that's meant to be cool but you'll get here and realise it's just over priced and a bit rubbish. £4.50 for a bottle of beer as well! Music really sucked and where they found the DJ I don't know! I don't mind spending a bit of money on a night out but c'mon guys, put a bit of effort in for your punters! Spare yourself the trouble and just go somewhere you enjoy, not somewhere you're meant to enjoy.
Last Friday went to Kitts for a friends birthday, was greeted by friendly door staff. Drink prices as you would expect for a west end however had t o wait a while to be served as only 2 bar staff. The real drama took place when the glass collector tried to take the 4 glasses I had just bought, as even though my party was dancing we were not allowed to keep them on the side. This escalated into an argument at which point he decided to push me, when I asked him why? He called the bouncers to get rid of me, I was not impressed!
He had feed a bunch of lies like I pushed him FIVE times and had pushed the toilet staff too, I explained to the bouncer what really happened who handled the situation very well and let me get on with my night. However the glass collector was on my case all night, to which I left with a party of 20. I will never go back again.
Kitts epitomises everything that is pretentious and rude about the London scene. Don't get me wrong, I love going to smart, fancy clubs like anyone and have had some great times clubbing with celebrities around town. However, the bouncers here are seriously tripping with power!!! As a girl, I was deemed worthy of entering through the hallowed gates, but my male friends were all scrutinised in a very rude fashion and refused entrance. Very embarrasing considering one of them was an American guest who wanted to experience the London nightlife, and even more ridiculous considering we were all on the guest list and the host had guaranteed a minimum payment in reserving the table. How are you supposed to guarantee a minimum payment if your guests aren't allowed in?! I left soon after, baffled by the inhospitable entry, but smug in the knowledge that they didn't get any of my drinking money and could spend the rest of the night partying with my friends. A 1 star rating is too generous - but View London doesn't seem to offer a negative ranking that is definitely needed for Kitts.
This doesn't happen very often in a life time!
I meet this very charming and friendly New Yorker at the Kitts door - he was queuing to get in and I was just telling him how good it was inside (and more). Unfortunately he could not get in so I had to let him go! Again that is not what london is like! Come on, one person and you don't let him in? Shame on you!
However I would love to get back in touch with you lovely stranger man! your accent was very cute - American - I love it! NYC even better! Probably just a french thing but...
Kitts is a beguiling addition to the Square. About time too. Sterling work fellas.
