Well kept and creatively decorated this is a nice bar, with an interesting selection of drinks.
A little late but I spent NYE at The Lost Angel and boy did they put on a great night! The venue looked amazing, they had gone to so much effort with the decs.. just beautiful. Masquerade theme, everyone wearing masks and people made a real effort! Favourite part of the night was the count down, the whole place joined in and the roar at midnight..perfect way to roll in the new year! roll on next years party!!
SERIOUSLY GOOD FOOD!! I took a girl there on a first date recently and so glad I did! Food was amazing, especially the Pork tenderloin, the date had sea bass which was cooked to perfection! We tried our best to get through the cocktail menu but had to give up which means I'll be back to try more, plus I may even get a second date out of it! Thank you The Lost Angel!!
Went to Lost Angel for halloween last Saturday and had such a great time, the staff had made a massive effort with their venue and it looked fantastic! It was really busy but still plenty of room to dance and such a friendly atmosphere. I was really impressed with how much effort the staff had gone to as i cant imagine it is very comfortable running around all night working until $am in full costume and face paint! thanks for a great night!
Came across this venue by chance last Sunday and had the best day/evening! The roasts have got to be the best I've tried in London by far! really reasonably priced we were so impressed, we stayed for the rest of the afternoon drinking cocktails in the amazing back garden, then a live band came on! I would highly recommend this venue!
Took the wife to Lost Angel for our 'date night' and we had a fantastic time!! the food was spot on and service was always with a smile. The bill didn't hurt too much either. Will definitely be going back soon. Top place!!
just had a lush dinner at the lost angel. a friend told me to 'like' them on facebook and i got 50% off my bill...result!! the food was scrumptious and the cocktails delicious! our waitress was dead friendly and really helpful with my gluten free friend. i shall be back lost angel!!
Me and some friends had dinner at the Lost Angel on Wednesday. I was very impressed with the food and our waiter couldn't have been friendlier. He had us in stiches!! Although the pub quiz didn't happen, the atmosphere was fun and laid back. Thanks guys, I'll be back very soon for sure!
Very disappointing customer service.
Having arrived there tonight I was turned away because they had no record of my booking. No apology, no attempt to rectify the situation. I don't care how good the venue might be - it doesn't get my vote.
The Lost Angel is a great venue for a Saturday night - the music is very cool and a bit different and the cocktails are great and not overpriced.
However... we had 45 guests coming for a birthday party and had reserved an area way in advance with the management, but when we arrived at 8.30pm we were shown the ONE table that was our 'area'!
We asked the manager about this and she said they had removed our reserved tables because we were an hour late - they had expected us to arrive at 7.30pm. I showed her the original email where she asked us to arrive at 8.30pm, and our official booking form that also had 8.30pm on it, but I did not receive an apology which I thought was rude.
I would still recommend this venue but if you have a reservation, I'd call the bar on the day to check it's going to be reserved when you get there!!
I went to the Lost Angel last sunday for a roast dinner. I was totally surprised by the place! Me and my friends stayed for hours! We ate, drank and played boardgames, whilst being waited on by friendly relaxed staff. The wine we drank was perfect, the roast was very impressive for a pub, and the portions were so big that none of us had room for pud! Teamed with the live music later on, this is definitely going to be at the top of my list for future sunday hangouts! Thanks!
Great venue - just a little up its own backside! Thinks it is still Dusk, although bleats on about now being a local pub. Very expensive (hello this is Battersea, not Chelsea) and food is way over priced, especially for the size of what you finally get. My advice is go to one of the several gastro pubs not 500yds away (such as Masons Arms, Duke of Cambridge, Lighthouse) for a much better meal, and where they don't charge you extra service charge just to bring it to your table. Even after complaining about the size / quality of the food, the manager basically dismissed it with an attitude that made me feel embarrassed to have even mentioned it. And in the end the barman still charged with the inane comment "well i am only the bar man" and "you'll have to take it up with the manager James but he is not here". I went straight home and made some sandwiches - maybe I should charge them for it!
Went here for a quick drink on Sunday afternoon - and ended up staying 3 hours!
The atmosphere was great, especially with the live music and the good sunday menu with snack sized plates of sausage or bacon baps.
Definitely recommend!
Have been to the Lost Angel twice now, once during the week for the great British pub quiz and food and once at the weekend for a friend’s party.
Can honestly say what a great place it is and would defiantly recommend it to others.
The staff are fantastic, top serves with really tasty food and some of the best cocktails I have tried and I like my cocktails so that says a lot.
The music at the weekend it makes a change to the norm you hear everywhere with a eclectic mix that had me and my friends dancing all night (warning your feet may hurt a little the next day but it was well worth)
Up from the "sticks" last weekend and recommended to Lost Angel. It was only a short bus ride from Victoria and well worth it! We had a scrumptious Sunday lunch! I went for the salmon blini and the calves liver. The liver was cooked to perfection and was very well presented.
The staff are all very friendly and helpful. They really seem to have proper time for you - no plastic smiles - genuinely interested in you as a person.
We were served in a decent time, knowing that it is all freshly cooked to order, I don't mind waiting and enjoyed the cocktail made by a gorgeous barman - hints of the film there!!
The decor is very eclectic - I've never seen lighting coming out of a bugle before! They have some really interesting bits and pieces put together lovingly. The garden, although not quite finished, was lovely too.
I thoroughly recommend the Lost Angel.
I went to Lost Angel last night - like Lost Society it's in a slightly obscure location, so you wouldn't really fit it in amongst other places on a night out, unless you plan on taking a cab in between.
It looks great inside, and has more of an upmarket pub feel, rather than a bar. That said, when we arrived at 8.30, we got a table and had table service all night.
We all had cocktails - there's a really good range and at £6.50 they were very reasonably priced. Tasted great too. Can't fault the service, in fact as they weren't very busy we were very well attended to.
The music was pretty funky, but the one thing I would say is that they're going to have to work a little harder to get the crowds in.
It wasn't empty by any means, but it wasn't really busy and buzzing, which I think you would want on a Saturday night.
Despite the fact that it was open til 2am, people started to drift off at about 10.30 - when we left at 11.30 it was really thining out.
I get that they're going for a more laid back vibe here, but based on last night's experience, as pleasant as it was, I wouldn't plan on spending a whole evening here, as you might have done with Lost Society, and that might be a problem given its location.
I'll be interested to see what it's like in 6 months time.
shocking bar.
Very expensive, ridiculously long wait to be severed and rude bar staff.
If you enjoy being treated like a dirt order a taxi now.
The Lost Angel is a wicked venue, I attened a buddies party there last week and was amazed at the tranformation from what was dusk bar, into this curvatious, quirky and eclectic destination.

I have since been back for a nice quiet mid week meal with my wife and we both really enjoyed the way the staff make you feel so at home and welcome.
Very highly recommended to anyone looking for a Thurs/Fri/Sat party, and to anyone looking for an affordable and exquisite bite anytime. + i hear the sunday roasts are fantastic too.
Visited for the opening party and had a wicked night, the band were amazing and really got the crowd going, it was such a friendly atmosphere...quite refreshing for london!
Really well designed with an inviting cosy feel to it...the Lost Angel name seemed to run as a theme throughout the bar design with sophisticated angels hidden in all the nooks and crannies.
Bar Staff were extremely handsome and obviously took passion in there work as they were shaking the cocktails like a young Tom Cruise,
Cocktails were delighful and were going down a little too well, I look forward to trying the food as the kitchen was only doing canapes for the opening party, but if they are anything to go by then I think the food will be as good as everything else!
Definitely recommend visiting for yourselves!
Stylishly decorated cocktail bar with what promises to be an excellent restaurant. Good outside space for smoking & drinking. Good cocktail list although they don't yet have the ingredients for everything on the menu.
