I went up to the Arms on a Tuesday night to get a decent pub meal - and the Lucas Arms was perfect for it. The food was top stuff with a reasonable selection and a few traditional options served in an interesting way (like Yorkshire pudding wrap) that worked well to liven up the menu. The atmosphere was good, a mixture of old locals and after-work tradies, certainly relaxed. The bar staff were friendly too.
