Had a clinical feel about it, staff did not seem very attentive. Also 10% service charge which works out alot when having drinks, and two courses. I would advise eating before you leave home!
Brilliant restaurant, lovely food and couldn't have been closer to Wembley Arena. Thanks for a great night
We went to this great Indian restaurant for the first time ever, while going to Michael buble's show at wembley arena,2 weeks back. Have to say, we loved Moore Spice ! It was cosy, friendly and lovely staff was extremely helpful, which is a rare treat for such a trendy venue. The crowd was great but was managed very professionally and so was the Manager. We had an excellent time. Impressive first experience, made us go back again last week. This time, it was an awesome evening for my kids. We went to Doctor Who's live show. Thereafter, headed to our fav restaurant, which undoubtedly, turned out to be the same for my kids as well. They were so impressed by the food and humble staff ,they kept talking about it all the way until we reached home. Really enjoyed the food and had wonderful day. Definitely, going there when we are in wembley next timecant wait to go back. We are coming in November.
Sorry, I am putting down this here, it is not a review. But this is where we are going to be on Sunday for the Man U, Chelsea game. Man U fans please come down as we have booked the basement floor for all the Man U fans. We have two coahes full of fans coming there, but if you want to peep in, you are welcome, Wont be happy to see a blue there. Cheers! Its only a minute, away from the stadium just opposite.
After seeing some fantastic reviews of Moore spice,I thought it appropriate to take a trip down there with my friends! We definitely were not let down.
Had dinner on Saturday with few friends there. superb! The service was flawless and the waitress knew everything about the menu and the flavours of dishes. on my friend's expertise,i feasted on a authentic and delightful meal of lamb bhuna, chicken jaal frizzier(yum-mm),chicken vindaloo(awe),lamb rogan josh, garlic naan and jeera rice. The items we had were not particularly pricey but there are some on that menu.
ooh, wish i had some of that meal right now! I suggest to get down to Moore spice now! An absolute must see!
My engagement party was attended by invitees from India. If anything could have gone wrong was food as my uncles and aunts were from Delhi.
I must congratulate the team at moorespice for helping me in choosing a nice menu which was equally liked by my local friends and overseas visitors.
Only one issue was the parking nusiance beacuse a market was operational near the stadium.
I hope their hall could take 500 people so that I could conduct my marriage there next year.
My only disappointment was not getting a nod to take in any drinks.
Policies must change as per customers requirement I suppose.
I feel it is I'mportant to say that when u go out and pay a lot of money u should expect good customer service to say the least, however I had a very bad experience at Moore Spice . I must say the food was amazing, but Wat is it worth when the service is horrendous! I've never been spoken to like that before! I was told by the 'manager' that if I wanted to speak to hi'm then I must get up to see him! Then said they will never let me book there again all because 4 out of 17 people didn't manage to make the dinner and we were told we would have to pay for food we would not be receiving! It was outrageous! The staff had bad attitudes, and the so called manager was just plain rude! As polite as I tried to be he did not want to listen! Im sorry this is a negative review and im sure they will want to remove it soon, but I would say hats off to the chef, but Wat is food if u cant enjoy it! I think its time someone taught these people some customer service skills!
I have been to wembley arena couple of times but last sunday,i went to this great indian curry house for the first time with couple of friends and it wont be the last.
I must say that their papaddams with that 3-sauces is just amazing.the food was prompt.great food and such a nice and helpful staff.the waitress who served us from beginning was just so good.nicely, explained us the different dishes and helped choose the best.the flavours in the meal we ordered were just delicious.besides, the cozy and warm atmosphere tops it up.the drinks are good,as is the food.
for sure,I'm coming back!and heartily recommend this friendly place when you are in wembley next time.
dont miss it...............
i thought i must share this party experience with you all. my sister had a baby shower party here. i had put in a review for these guys days ago. yet i am doing it again because of my party exp. we were seventeen
Decent Food, but D. J. Is missing on weekdays? Hope these guys understand good food and service alone does not make people return. Have some music please.
went to Moore spice on Friday night.amazing atmosphere and staff were courteous.the service was efficient and friendly.the food was really excellent.a delicious meal in a lovely setting and great value.the music is such a great way to unwind on the weekend!worth a visit.one of my favourite places
Lovely restaurant and friendly staff. Went with my girlfriend for a dinner this friday and were really impressed. Have been there couple of times and guess what. Every meal has been really excellent. All the food was absolutely delicious. In particular, main course was incredible. In short, amazing meal, good value and well worth it. Would surely go again, higly recommenable.
The slick service and the appealing dishes give a greater sense of luxury while dining in any restaurant. moore spice Indian is just that. Believe me I go there only during football, therefore only a small menu or buffet is available. Must see what there usual menu offer. Hats off guys
Just been to this Indian quite frankly the worst food we have ever been served. Manager very rude and would not even recommend this restaurant to my worst enemy.
I have visited this restaurant a few times now mainly for the lunch time buffet, which is good value with a nice selection of dishes, I always find them friendly and the food is very good.
There is a very good DJ night on Fridays in the lower ground floor bar, where you can dance to local well know DJs. Sometime we also enjoy a meal before the music starts as the food is good too.
We have been to this restaurant a couple of times as it’s a great location to have a pleasant Indian meal before going on to a concert at the Wembley Arena. Would highly recommend but book in advance, the drinks prices are a bit higher than the local pubs but it is a good quality venue right opposite the Wembley Stadium
we had been to Moore spice this Saturday and were really amazed by the relaxed feel of the place as well as the service.staff welcomed us humbly and seemed to be well-trained and attentive in attending us.
Food was really YUMMY.In starters, crispy chilly vegetable and hara kebab -is worth trying.Main course is OK.No question about portion loll.the service was quick (received starters within 10 minutes of ordering.)As for drinks-they are reasonably priced.Wish, they had more options for dessert though.overall, really really fantastic place to go to.
Had a great night-out there and will surely appeal to everyone.I do recommend it to anyone.A must go place..............
Hi guys/galsi had been visiting moorespcie for quite some time and when I was reading thru some of these reviews I thought, I must put in some words too. In a world where appreciation is hard to come by, I really feel some one has to come forward. What am I blabbering. I only intend to say these guys do keep some standrad recipes and very consistent. I have only felt bored with restaurants, since over the years they tend to be complacent and boring. But Moore Spice has been a place quality of food is looked after. Although its a long wait on weekends for a table, its really worth waiting. Keep going, moore spice!
Just returned from a night out at Moore Spice. It's Mothers Day, I expected the venue to be busy. I reserved a table for 12 people, I was asked to pay a £50 deposit (slightly understandable). We arrived on time had our drinks order taken within 10mins. Unfortunately, the drinks took 20mins to reach us (coke & orange juice are not too hard to pour)! Our starters came after 45mins of placing the order, the food was just about warm, then we had to wait over 1hr & 20mins for our main course - that was also 'just about warm'. Price wasn't an issue, but the food was below average, the dishes were bland and had no taste. The staff behaved like they were on holiday, unattentive, uninterested, they managed to miss out items on our order (even after repeating our order to us). They ruined most of our evening by making silly mistakes, making us wait over 2hrs before even having our main course - all this when they were not too busy (upstairs was all empty, there were empty tables on the main floor too). Most of the food was wasted, the wait killed off the hunger and we left before they could even offer us a dessert menu. Not a place I would recommend to anyone, and not a place I see myself going back to any time soon!
I went there last Friday with my colleagues and I was very pleasantly surprised. Very nice atmosphere, it's something like a mixture between Indian and European style, lovely music, we had a few drinks on the bar while we were waiting for our table, btw the Mojitos there are orgasmic! Most importantly, the food there is absolutely fantastic, I can't wait to go there agon and have a portion of their Chicken Lollipops! The beef was also excellent. Staff was also really helpful, we had an great Friday night there. I really loved the place and the food, although I'm not a big fan of Indian food but I'd love to go there again soon.
Been to this place while going for jodeci. even though i had been to many concerts in wembley arena this place went un noticed. Looks like its better to reserve. FOod was yummy but did not get enough time to spend as my table was available for half an hour only. reason being another couple had booked for the valentines day.
Have enough coins in your pocket if you wish to buy just couple of drinks only at the bar as minimum spent is £ 10.00 and there are no cash machines near by.
Had been to moore spice on last 24.02. Must say its one of the restaurant in london which keeps authentic recipies. The food is quite like what you would get in Delhi. Crispy vegetables chilli and pepper chicken is a must try.
WIsh there were more choice on main course dishes.
The decor is excellent but tables are far too close to each other barring privacy.
Its one of the best in north west.
Food was excellent, well presented & not too much either. Drinks were ok although the wine could have been a wee bit cheaper for what you got! We booked for 18.30 but were a half hour late due to tube works. We apologised to the manager who seemed a bit pissed off & moaned about giving our table away-even tho up stairs was virtually empty!
Service was ok but a bit slow & we had to ask to order our food & had to wait a good 15 mins for our bill after asking for it-my cousin had to actually shout across the mezzanine to get someones attention!!Overall the fod was excellent & tasted like my ma's home made curries back in day!Would go back if I went back to wembeley definitely!
Having been to Moore Spice several times, the standard of service declines each time.I spoke to the manager about and he seemed unconcerned. We booked the table for the 21st Feb, at time of booking we were asked to pay a deposit, which is understandable. However, through out the whole evening, not once was it busy, we could have walked in anytime during the evening and had a table for 16 people immediately.
I had to get up from our table countless times to order further drinks, food and once even to cancel an order for a drink as it had been over 20 minutes since the order. If you’re a fan of cocktails and smoothies, do not order these from Moore Spice.
Not only are they made by an amateur but it took them a very long time taken to make these……………… one needs to question why they are taking such a long time to make undrinkable cocktails and smoothies, and, no, they were not busy. When we were presented with the bill, we had to remind them about the deposit already paid!?!
We were celebrating a 50th birthday, the cake was being taken to the wrong person!?! The starters are nice and the mains are adequate. I will certainly not be returning here in a hurry.
I went to Moore Spice on Saturday just gone.
Food was nice, however the service was poor, very poor. We got there just after 4 and and left at 7.30. We would have finished sooner had they been more attentive.
I have been to Moore Spice before and got an excellant service.
I think it depends on who you are being served by, which is a shame as it should be enjoyable all the time.
We went there for our nephew 3rd birthday, heard the place was good in terms of atmosphere and location. I was very diappointed in the whole experience. The food was average, service was poor and the attitude of the staff compared to students just not worried about their job. We had to wait for our drinks and food, the waiter even took away our drinks as we talked to other guests on the other table. The food was not at all tasty and as mentioned below average, I was being nice to call it average, that is putting average restaurants down. Do not go there if you like your asian food, taste and Authencity. Better to go to Brick Lane or Southall for true authenicate curries. Seems that the place is just for those who like to show off and not care about food. Nice view of Wembley, that was the highlight of the night.
I LOVE IT !
This Indian restaurant and Sports Bar has such a good location overlooking the main entrance to Wembley Stadium. It has pleasant modern decore displaying some superb football memorobilia, emphasising the England 1966 World Cup winning team and Bobby Moore.
Plus for music fans it has loads of interesting items on display in the 1985 Concert themed 'Live Aid Lounge'.
So what about the food, the quality is great and the staff very friendly and helpful. I have eaten there both as an al la Cart diner and also sampled the excellent buffets that are prepared for busy match days and concerts etc. at the Stadium.
The new weekday 12noon to 3pm 'curry in a hurry' buffet at £6 per head is excellent value for local business people and anyone else wanting to go out for a good lunch.
They can even do celebration parties and confernces in the lower ground floor function suite & bar for about 150 people.
Just remember it can get very busy on Wembley Stadium event days and you need to book in advance and be prepared for some minor delays in service.
But just relax with a good drink (plenty of choice, here) and enjoy the surroundings and the Stadium view or watch sport or music on the large TV screens located at key points throughout the premises, whilst you wait for the great meal being pepared for your enjoyment.
So have a great time at More Spice.
Authentic Indian Food in a cozy atmosphere. Probably best in North West. Great Views of Stadium. Ideal Party Venue. Friday D.J. Nights are popular. Careful on dresscodes. Be Smart & Sexy. Good Parking facility. Have some coins as the minimum spend on a card is £ 10.00. Online booking is responsive.
Absolutely dreadful food. The contemporary decor is pleasant enough.
However, the food was a long time coming and tasted like the sauces had ladles of salt added. My madras was very artificial tasting and I felt ill driving home and dehydrated in the morning.
This place clearly relies on the location by the arena/stadium providing a flow of customers, so quality food isn't an issue.
A real shame, as it looks great and is in a convenient location.
One of the best Indian meal I had in recent times. Restaurant dint look much traditional but was very contemporary.
Seating at the top floor has excellent views of the Stadium but slightly warm. Certainly it had a festive atmosphere may be because of Christmas Seasons. Service was friendly and warm. Give it a try if you dont wish very elaborate menu.
On arrival the feel is bright and modern yet it took 30 mins to get seated, 1hr 20 mins to get main course. When it arrived all four separate dishes were barely warm and really unedible due to high contents of salt. Spoke to a "manager" who was unwilling to accept any complaint, so we left the entire meal, paid our bill and left. Really one of the worst meals we have ever had in 18 years in London. Really disappointed.
Great location opposite Wembley stadium entrance with magnificent views from picture windows across the entire first floor. Great natural light in daytime and atmospheric in the evening.
Clean, contemporary feel, nice food and friendly service. Looking forward to my next visit.
Had booked a table at Moore Spice for after the George Michael concert. The four page menu on their website was down to 2 pages on the night. Poppadoms soggy, food nothing special and service was poor. Nice location and nice surroundings but totally spoiled by attitude of staff. They have a captive audience and are out to exploit that fact. Moore Spice is over-priced and over-rated.
