Having a December birthday it's never been easy to arrange a night out. Most places are fully booked months beforehand for Christmas parties. I popped into Mortimers the day before my birthday and asked if they could reserve some seating for me, not expecting anything, and they were very helpful and reserved a lovely sofa area for the following evening.


The Mortimers staff were very nice, the drinks were reasonable and the atmosphere was just right.

Mortimers a good lunch spot for when you’re out and about. It has a good atmosphere and very friendly staff. They’ve also got a good wine list at Mortimers.

The Mortimer is a pretty cool bar which is trendy and laid back. The crowd is groups that mostly stick to themselves, but that's OK. We had a meal at The Mortimer and the food was really good.
Go on a Friday night if you want more excitement.
