Mothers Day at London Bars

Choosing to spend Mothers Day at London bars is a fantastic idea as the quality of the food is now often comparable to that of even the finest restaurants in the capital. As Mothers Day always falls on a Sunday, it's also a good excuse to dig into a Sunday roast with all the trimmings. Spending Mothers Day at London bars is a great way to enjoy quality time with your mum without breaking the budget. We've hunted out the best pubs and bars across the capital and if they're doing something special, you can find it here.

Newly opened in Hampstead, the warm classic styling, open fire and Modern European menu makes this an excellent choice for Mothers Day 2011. In addition to the standard menu featuring dishes such as venison ravioli, Cornish crab salad, rack of lamb, rhubarb crumble and creme brulee they will also be serving a Sunday roast with all the trimmings.

If you're looking for a more unusual alternative for Mothers Day head to the Peacock Bar. 'An Afternoon and Evening with Sinatra' graced the stage last year. Look out for a similar treat for 2011.

Forgotten to buy your mum any chocolates for Mothers Day? Take her for lunch or dinner on and they may give her chocolates to take home at the end of the meal like last year.

With its stylish surroundings and commitment to excellent food and drink, this pub is always going to be popular with mums on Mothers Day. It'll be popular with your bank manager too - mums ate free when accompanied by one full paying adult and all guests received a free glass of Mummy's Fizz (pressed raspberry and rhubarb topped with Prosecco) last year. Check back soon for 2011 goodies.
