ABSOLUTELY DIABOLICAL - DO NOT COME HERE!!! got conned out of £100 for a "deposit" on a table for a meal, they charged us £5 per person for a filth ridden torn seat to watch amateur (special) regulars to screech out lyrics to a beat machine, service was TERRIBLE, I was refused service of a pint of beer by the rude ancient bartender because "i would not like the taste", at first I thought the barrel needed changing when he ignored me and served the next person, but it turned out he refused to serve me a pint simply because i was female because the lager was fine for the next male customer! got given one soggy menu containing about four food items between 20 people but by this time we were completely put off ordering any food from this dive: the toilets of three consisted of one bashed in door, one broken lock, and one out of order, the whole venue is a time bomb waiting to go off and a disaster waiting to happen.

The food at Murphis is good, but the karaoke is even better! I just love the karaoke they have at Murphis, especially since it's had a makeover, it's even better. The staff are really funny too. It is a good place for a works do as it gets everyone in the mood for a laugh.

I'm not a great fan of karaoke but I did enjoy the night at Murphis. The staff seem to know what they're doing and the beers were good and cold. I may well return to Murphis, but probably not to sing as badly as I did the other night.
