The New Moon is a lively pub within Leadenhall Market with a great drinking area outside the pub with in the Market , It has a great range of ales and largers and a good wine selection , staff very friendly and has a great informal atmosphere for a busy City pub has two big plasmas for sport but it does not over take the pub. Food good but could do with more tables in the main bar as most of the dining in the cellar bar but most people want to be on Market level as great for watching the world go by.

It's OK - in truth I was slightly underwhelmed with the New Moon. The beer (London Pride and Greene King IPA) is fine, the staff are fine, the other punters are fine (as long as you don't object to men in suits). It has got one of the classy EA Golf machines (rather than the Golden Tee rubbish), and plasma screens up at either end for the footie/cricket. There are local boozers in the area with masses more personality.
Unfortunately, the New Moon rather pales in comparison.
