this place is now reopen and it is now cheaper and cocktails and we are open everyday till 3am dj every weekends house and funky bass house and r&b and eletro and so much more mixs opening 31st open 12pm till 3am everyday sundays till 12.30 am
Wow loved this place! Definately has changed alot, its not the easiest place to get to, but its well worth it!
the food was incredible and the staff where friendly....i really liked it, will def make this my regular bar or restaurant spot.
since reopening the venue is not a place for west londons nightlife lovers. the direction of the bar driven by the owner is going down a very lonely road for his bar staff.
my friends and i went out on saturday night and visited a few bars in the area that were gaining pace throughout the night - as we were with a couple of sambuccas in our bellys!
we got to number10 at around 11.30 to find out that it was £10 on the door to get in and were promised that the place would be banging....
...we paid the door fee and were greated by the lonely bar staff (looking rather glum and ear piercing commercial rnb) -
we were joined at around 12.30 by a group of non yummy mummys that looked like they should of been on the set of witnail and i
its a real shame the place had the promising of being a real west london joint but misses the shot by miles
If you live in the Portobello area you should pop in and check this place .
You never know , Dj's nights , live music ,private parties, totally impredictable.
In this bar you are not going to find any fake Venetian mirrors on the walls or Gold chairs and the decor is pretty basic , but when the party is on you understand why, it simply works well like that.
Should be open more often.
I agree with Jodie, the venue is the same but the atmosphere is totally different. We were there for the Carnival after party and we had such a good time.
I hired out the dining room and the members bar for my 40th birthday and I had such a great time. The food was excellent, bar staff lovely and the bill a pleasant surprise. Thank you guys.
Same name same venue but what a different place. Less pretentious and warmer too; good music selection and fair prices. Open till late. Very much needed in the area. Well done new number 10!
