NW1 is usually good for a quick and affordable lunch or after work drink with good screens for sports. Was shocked recently by rude bar staff on what should have been a small matter over the extremely high price of a tall coke.



Bartender was awkward and rude. Actually, what should have been a perfectly civilised lunch/drink with colleagues was ruined thanks to this nervous man’s jump to a pitiful point of view. No, thank you again NW1 far too many other choices in the area, don’t need to know about your stress or lack of manners when dealing with the clientele, who remember, are coming in to relax.

As a big sports fan, I think NW1 is a couch competitors home away from home. The massive plasma screens are a welcome addition, but get in quick because the place packs out fairly quickly on game day. I was there for all of the 6 Nations matches this winter and had a great time! A feast of sport, a good range of beverages, and the occasional free sarnie or sausage roll makes for an ideal place to spend a weekend afternoon - NW1 is exceptional.
