If you’re tired of the usual pubs in the Bexleyheath area, Nyne Lounge offers something a little different, with fun décor, party tunes and fruity cocktails.

The Venue
With no windows to peer into, you have to venture inside this bar to see what it’s all about. It appears very dark on entry and you are immediately drawn to the Moroccan-inspired lamps hanging from the ceiling – the main source of light in the room. The bar stretches across one end and is big enough to cope at peak times. Right at the other end of the room are a few pool tables and a television – no doubt a nod to the old snooker club that once stood here. To one side of the dance floor, you can take a few steps down into an (even darker) area with plenty of seating – a good place to rest your feet or chat with friends.

The Atmosphere
Nyne is definitely a late night bar and takes a while to get going but, once it does, the party spirit Is infectious. A young crowd gathers as the night draws on and they're obviously looking for a good time. It takes no time at all for people to get up and dance so be prepared to show off your latest moves.

The bar staff are very friendly and they are also happy to guide you through their drinks list and make suggestions based on what you like.

The Drink
Nyne’s main selling point is its cocktails. They have a good list, mostly catering for a sweet tooth, with the Raspberry Dib Dab taking sweetness to the extreme. It’s a raspberry vodka based drink, which really does taste like drinking sherbet. Less sickly and very drinkable is the Porn Star Martini, a mix of vanilla vodka, passoa and passion fruit puree, served with a side of prosecco – it’s great if you want to feel like you’re drinking something special. If you’re not into cocktails then don’t worry as there is the usual selection of wine and beer to fall back on, at reasonable prices.

The Last Word
If you’re after a fun night out in Bexleyheath then Nyne is a great place to be - it's full of happy people ready to party.
