Visited this restaurant lunchtime today.
Wasn't impressed.

My guest ordered an orange juice which she said tasted off.
Waiter replaced this without charging us - ok fair enough.

I ordered a vegetable curry (being a vegetarian), my friend ordered a chicken curry.
When these arrived the waiter asked who was having the vegetable curry - I indicated it was me.
I asked him to confirm that my dish was definitely the vegetable curry and not the chicken - he confirmed that this was the case.

My colleague looked at our dishes and asked the waiter if he was absolutely sure that he had given us these the right way round.
He took another look and confirmed that this was definitely the case.

I then stuck my chopsticks into my dish and pulled out a large chunk of chicken.

This really is just not good enough. I won't be eating at Pacific Oriental again.

I went to pacific oriental in mid may. Had a fantastic selection of sushi and grilled seabass and the service was absolutely brilliant. waiters were very polite , to the point and helpful. I had sake raspberry which was very good as well.
I am from Munich and keep on visiting london atleast twice a year for various purposes. I was even explained in Germanabout the menu..broken but he tried his best.thank you and compliments to that waiter. I have been enjoying their service and food since then. I would rate this restaurant simply 5 star...voila.
I didnt find chicken curry and vegetable curry in their menu. It's quite unique..definately not a curry house.
