I go the the Paternoster near St. Paul's Cathedral once a month to meet up with members of an organisation called Outsiders. I have recently become an Outsiders member myself and started attending most lunches since September 2010. The food is delicious if somewhat expensive but the atmosphere is mostly calm and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The pub sits in a pedestrian-friendly area and there is few seating outside but the interior has ample, comfortable seating. I recommend the pub as a great place to eat and drink occasionally. 4/5.

This place is great for a lunchtime or after work drink and it often gets very busy around 6pm.

I'm always caught out by how pricey the drinks are, probably because it looks a bit like a Wetherspoons so you expect Wetherspoons prices! Like a lot of pubs though it's also a bit hit and miss on the food front.

I've had a fantastic burger there before but I wouldn't bother again with the Platters to share as they are mostly made up of the potato component such as wedges or chips.

Good for meeting mates after work.

Paternoster's quite a nice bar for a few early evening drinks but don't expect it to get really busy! Went in there for a few after work last month.

Was quite a good atmosphere but Paternoster's definitely not a spot for a big night out!
