Piccolino was excellent. The seafood linguini, and it was the best I have had outside of Italy. The service was second to none. As I have a clam allergy I asked whether or not there were clams in the seafood mix, and although the waiter was not sure, he went and enquired and the manager came over to assure me that no clams were included. I was not made to feel as though I had committed a crime, as has been my experience in some establishments.


The wine list is good and reasonably priced. The food has proved to be the best, and the service has not faltered. Piccolino should make other restaurants in the area sit up and take heed, as this is surely destined to be one of the main venues in the area.
