Hello dear, I work in an office in W10. I have frequently called into The Pig and Whistle. It's a great pub. The pint is absolutely excellent and there is a relaxed atmosphere. It is a mixture of English and Irish clientele. However, I believe the owner/manager could teach his/her staff to be more prompt and polite as on one occasion I asked for the golf to be seen on TV and I was blatantly told that horse racing was first preference by a lady that I believe customers knew as head of staff.



But to my attention came a tall, dark-haired, Irish chap. He assured me that if I wanted to see golf, it would not be a problem and referred me to the upper bar area. I found this chap to be of immense politeness and who I presumed is a member of staff.



With regard to that incident I would recommend Pig & Whistle to anyone in that area for a relaxing drink plus to view sports. With a good refurb, this possibly could be seen to be one of the best pubs in London.

If you can get past the groovy exterior and into the Pig & Whistle you will probably be pleasantly surprised. The Pig & Whistle was not what I expected, it was frantic on Friday night, the place was pumping and the beer was flowing. It all went down hill for me following the happy hour - ended up at home by 10pm, but had a blast.
