As the original Pitcher and Piano, the Fulham bar has maintained its authenticity through means of atmosphere, yet grown with the times to become the perfect meeting spot on Fulham Road. There is a decent, eclectic menu of food and drink, with the cocktails, in my mind, reigning king. The latest creation, called Finish in the Pink is a peculiar combination of Rose wine teamed with vodka and muddled with fresh berries. I never thought such a mix would be so tasty!



The bar has a very welcoming vibe, and the staff are always willing to accommodate our varying requests (with a smile on their face)! Like all good home from home bars, Pitcher and Piano has a terrific menu. The grub is well priced and the portions are generously sized getting you value for your money. Great selection of burgers made with prime British beef and lamb that will satisfy the hungriest of people.



If burgers don’t tickle your fancy, there are plenty of alternatives, including a range of salads, open sandwiches and light bites, all of which are as mouth-watering as the next. As a professional, I enjoy the bar to get away from the meat-market culture familiar to a number of the surrounding bars. This Pitcher and Piano is the perfect location for all occasions.

I went to the Pitcher & Piano on a Sunday afternoon when it is aptly nick-named the Pick and Pull. It was rammed full of unjustly arrogant men flashing their £20 notes around and rowdy in-your-face types who touch you up when they walk past.



The final straw was some bloke telling me he was 34 and retired, but wouldn't divulge how he supported himself. What would an International Man of Mystery be doing drinking in a Pitcher & Piano on a sunday afternoon in Fulham?
