Went there for my mates brithday drink, Maseo from de la soul was doing a set. We had a good night. Music was really good, old school hip hop and soul and some new stuff. Drinks are pricey but they really know how to make a cocktail. The rasberry capirinha is too die for. nice atmosphere, everyone just out to dance and socialise. Totally unpretentious and no sleazy guys really. So me and the girls had a dance, some nice cocktails and a few laughs. I would recommend if you wnat a laid back party vibe with good drinks.

Man - what can I say last Friday was incredible!!

The residents smashed it and DJ Yoda was incredible...those who attended wanting more of the same

As well as the Dixon Bros - keep a keen ear out for Kid Who and J Bold...all more than capable on the 1's

Me and my girls had a great Friday night out in Plan B recently. We came to see the Nextmen who had everyone dancing away. The other Dj’s warmed up the night nicely with a crazy mix of disco, hip hop, funk, alsorts. The club was easy to find, just on Brixton Rd a minute walk from Brixton underground. The club looked and felt really clean and well kept with none of the usual sticky floors! There was a great crowd of people, good looking, friendly and unpretentious which was refreshing.
The downstairs area has its own DJ booth, bar and comfortable leather seating so although was wild at one point is a bit more chilled and private.
We made sure we got there early for free entry and had previously booked a table online so we made sure we made the most of the happy hour for 2 for 1 cocktails!
As for the staff, bar staff were having a really good time too which is great to see, with a few hotties! It’s also great to see people who are proffesional with a lot of flair and an ability to put together a great choice of cocktails. Security is thorough and also helped me to get a taxi home with a safe company which is great if you are partying into the late hours.

We went to Plan B on a Thursday night and they had a couple of Hip Hop acts on stage which, despite some problems with the mics, were really good local talent. Then there was an open mic session, one of the best I've been to so far.

The Plan B club itself was very tidy, nice inside, not massive but plenty of places to hide if you want! Bar staff were excellent for a Thursday night, and most doormen were good. I thought is good value for money with a real nice attitude - a real nice place. Just don't wear a cap to Plan B!

What a party! Plan B is a great place. The music is fantastic, drinks are too. The thing about Plan Bis that it's low key for a place of this calibre. It's a seriously good time and not at all moody.

If you want to have a totally unpretentious, chilled out laugh on a Friday night then check out Plan B.

There is one particularly obnoxious bouncer but otherwise all the others are cool. The bar staff at Plan B are friendly and the music is good (sometimes it's actually really great).

If, like me, you are tired of the West End and want to dance, smile (yes, actually smile at people!), not pay a ridiculous entry fee and be in a mixed, generally 22+ age group, then check out Plan B for a refreshing change. Decent size, decent crowd, decent music. Maybe see you there...

Taking it's inspiration from Manchester's Dry Bar (when it was owned by New Order and good) Plan B is the best bar south of the river. An impressive sound system, a license until 4am, a spacious dance floor and a quality music policy - RnB/hip hop/Funk on a Friday and House on a Saturday.

There is a good mix of people (no mullets or fins to be seen), no dress code and no sign of cheese anywhere. The only drawback is the drinks aren't too cheap - £3.50 for a bottle of stella, but if you arrive before 9.00pm there's no door charge and a happy hour. Did I say best bar south of the river - best bar in London!

Plan B is without a doubt my favourite venue in London. The listings cover a variety of music but I especially like Fridays when the music is a great mix of funk/hip hip/disco and house. The venue is spacious and comfortable, with an up-for-it mixed crowd who dance in every available space, but there's plenty of comfortable seating if you want a rest, including a great raised terrace from where you can survey the dancefloor.

The cocktails are creative, unusual and delicious. My one criticism is that the security can be abrupt, but when they're protecting you from the elements of Brixton maybe that's not a bad thing. Go there to dance, to drink, or both - you'll have a great night.

Went to Plan B for the first time for the drum'n'bass night Essence of Chi, thought the venue was really cool, funky lighting and a brilliant sound system. The music played was soulful drum'n'bass with a bit of jump up and darkness thrown in.

Have to say the evening was really rocking and the MCs kept the crowd hyped. Good mix of people as well...bar selection was too good, me and the girls got very drunk on cocktails! will def be returning to this night and venue in the future!

Interesting space with great use of lighting. Chilled out deep house on Saturday, maybe a little too deep for some - but good atmosphere well worth a visit.
